The lampshade is crafted in Venedig, a fabric from Astrid Textiles. Venedig is a taffeta with a polyester warp and linen weft – the linen texture, somewhat unexpected in a fabric of this type, creates an intriguing surface that feels crisp yet soft to the touch.
Each lampshade is handmade in an atelier outside Eskilstuna, where the craft of lampshade making dates back to the 1940s and has been passed down through generations.
Tambur Collection is our own collection with an emphasis on products in natural materials and simple geometries. The timeless design that combines uncompromising quality connects. Manufacturing takes place locally in Sweden.
