TERMS & CONDITIONS

We want you to feel confident when shopping with Tambur. Below you will find our terms and conditions regarding purchases, payments, deliveries, returns and complaints.

1. GENERAL TERMS

1.1 Age

To make a purchase in Tambur Store’s online shop, you must be at least 18 years old.

1.2 Orders

Once you have completed your order, an order confirmation will be sent to the email address provided. This email includes payment details, delivery address, products, prices and shipping costs. If any information is incorrect, please contact us immediately at kundservice@tamburstore.se.

The order confirmation only acknowledges that we have received your order, but it does not constitute an acceptance. All orders are subject to our approval based on product availability. You will receive a delivery confirmation email once your order has been dispatched — at that point, the agreement between you and Tambur becomes binding.

We reserve the right to cancel an order, or parts of an order, without liability for compensation or damages. If this happens, you will be notified via email.

1.3 Incorrect information

We reserve the right to correct any errors in pricing, stock balance or delivery information even after an order has been confirmed.

1.4 Printing and image errors

We reserve the right for potential typographical errors and variations in product images. The colours displayed on your screen may differ slightly from the actual product depending on screen settings and lighting conditions.

1.5 Force majeure

We reserve the right to invoke force majeure in situations beyond our control.

2. PRICES

All prices are stated in Euro (EUR) and include VAT. The price applicable is the one shown on the website at the time you place your order.

3. DELIVERY

3.1 Store pickup

You can choose to collect your order at our store on Folkungagatan 85 in Stockholm (not valid for bulky items such as furniture). As soon as your order is ready for pickup, we will contact you by email, SMS or phone.

3.2 Home delivery / Service point

When your order has been shipped, you will receive a shipping confirmation email with a tracking number. For larger deliveries, DHL will contact you to arrange a delivery date. For smaller parcels, the shipping company will notify you via SMS, email or letter.

Please double-check your contact details before placing an order. We are not responsible for delivery issues caused by incorrect or incomplete contact information.

3.3 Uncollected packages / Incorrect information

If a shipment is returned to us because it was not collected in time, or due to incorrect name, address or contact details, the customer will be charged a fee of 300 SEK for parcels and 600 SEK for pallets or bulky deliveries. This covers return shipping and administration.

4. DELIVERY TIMES

In-stock items are normally dispatched within 1–4 days. Made-to-order or backordered products may have longer delivery times, as stated on the individual product page.

5. RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL AND RETURNS

You have the right to withdraw from your purchase within 14 days of receiving your order. Returns can be made free of charge in our store at Folkungagatan 85, Stockholm.

To use your right of withdrawal, please contact us at kundservice@tamburstore.se and include your order number and information about the item(s) you wish to return.

Certain products may be exempt from the right of withdrawal, such as made-to-order or customised items.

6. CLAIMS AND COMPLAINTS

6.1 Product complaints

If you wish to make a complaint, please contact us and include your receipt or order confirmation, clear photos of the product, and a description of the issue. Complaints are not accepted for normal wear or improper use.

If your complaint is approved, we will replace the item with an identical product or refund the purchase amount.

6.2 Transport damages

Always inspect your delivery upon receipt. Visible damage must be noted on the carrier’s delivery note before signing. Hidden damage must be reported to us as soon as it is discovered.

7. PERSONAL DATA (GDPR)

We process your personal data to manage your order, deliver products, handle payments (including credit checks if applicable) and assist you with any questions regarding your purchase.

Legal basis: Fulfilment of the purchase agreement. This processing is necessary for us to complete your order. If the required data is not provided, we cannot process your purchase.

We also process personal data when required by law, such as accounting regulations or product liability legislation. Your data is stored for as long as necessary to fulfil these obligations.
