Rug no.22 from Cappelen Dimyr is a light, flat-woven, handmade rug crafted from natural jute and wool. It features a base of natural jute, adorned with a graphic floral motif in white, natural wool – a combination of hard and soft elements that creates a striking contrast. A thin fringe along the short edges adds a simple yet significant detail that completes the design.

Cappelen Dimyr uses only natural fibers, such as untreated linen and wool, in an effort to create products with minimal negative environmental impact. Every part of the rug is handcrafted, washed with natural soap, and sun-dried. No chemicals are used at any stage of production. All Cappelen Dimyr products are certified according to Good Weave Certification and Care & Fair.
Care & Cleaning Instructions
To remove stains, use only a small amount of warm water or, for more stubborn stains, a small amount of soap. The wool naturally contains fat, which helps prevent stains from penetrating the fibers. For a more thorough cleaning, dry cleaning is recommended.
