Rug No.14 is the first oval rug in Cappelen Dimyr's collection, and we love how its softness, shape, and curls come together in a captivating rug. Made of natural, unbleached wool, hand-knotted and hand-spun. Thanks to the hand-spun technique, the yarn acquires a characteristic curly texture. The rug enhances Cappelen Dimyr's ethos of contemporary softness and a bohemian feel. Combined with the beautiful warm ivory-white color, it becomes proof of the luxury synonymous with the brand's design.
Each rug is unique, and minor variations in color and details may occur as a result of the handmade production process.
Cappelen Dimyr exclusively uses natural fibers, such as untreated linen and wool, in an effort to create products with minimal negative impact on the environment. Each individual part of the rug is handmade, washed with natural soap, and dried in the sun. No chemicals are used at any stage of production. All products from Cappelen Dimyr are certified according to the Good Weave Certification and Care & Fair standards.
Care Instructions
The rug has partially long pile, which typically has an initial tendency to shed fibers. Therefore, we recommend vacuuming the rug frequently to reduce this shedding. Shedding will decrease over time.
To remove stains, use only a small amount of warm water or, for more stubborn stains, a small amount of soap. Wool naturally contains grease that helps prevent stains from penetrating the fibers. For a more thorough cleaning, dry cleaning is recommended.
