Cappelen Dimyr exclusively uses natural fibers such as untreated linen and wool in an effort to create products with minimal negative environmental impact. Care & Cleaning Instructions
The rug has a partially long pile that typically has an initial tendency to shed fibers. Therefore, we recommend vacuuming the rug frequently to reduce this shedding, which will diminish over time.
To remove stains, use only a small amount of warm water or, for more stubborn stains, a small amount of soap. Wool naturally contains oils that help prevent stains from penetrating the fibers. For a more thorough cleaning, professional dry cleaning is recommended.
