Ribbed beech spatula from English Kilner. As a gnocchi board, it easily creates tracks or stripes in the pasta — which makes it easier for the sauce to stick with the gnocchi, enhancing the flavors.

This variant is traditionally used as Scotch hands (butter beaters) to press and shape homemade butter. The deep grooves are perfect for letting excess buttermilk drain off, and the pat can be used to shape your fresh butter.
