Futagami is a brass foundry located in Takaoka Japan. The history of the foundry dates back to 1897 but in recent years they have partnered with beloved Japanese designers like Oji Masanori to launch brass livingware products such as towel hangers, S-shaped hooks, trivets and bottle openers. Brass products gradually change their color over the course of many years due to oxidation. The longer they are used, the richer and subtler they become.
