The Butter Bell® is a modern interpretation of the traditional French beurrier – an elegant and practical way to keep butter soft, fresh, and spreadable without refrigeration.
Crafted from durable New Bone China ceramic, free from lead and cadmium, the butter crock has a timeless design that complements both contemporary and classic kitchens. The two-part construction features a bell-shaped lid that holds the butter and a base that is filled with cold water. Once assembled, the water creates an airtight seal that preserves the butter’s flavor and texture for up to 30 days at room temperature.
The crock holds approximately 125 grams of butter and is simple to use:
Fill the base with cold water (about 1/3 cup).
Pack soft butter into the bell-shaped lid, removing air pockets.
Invert and place the lid into the base – done!
For optimal freshness, change the water every 2–3 days.
