History
Since the 17th century, knife making has been a tradition in Solsona, northern Spain. The company Pallarès was founded in 1917 but has been the last remaining legacy of famous knife makers in Solsona since the '90s. Brothers Lluís and Carles Pallarès Canal quickly became known for their happy mood and sharp knives. From the 1960s, until the third generation took over in the early 21st century, the company was run by Lluís children, Jesús and Juli Pallarès Moncunill.
