Rug no.23 from Cappelen Dimyr is a light, flat-woven, handmade rug crafted from natural materials. It features a classic checkered pattern where natural jute is combined with slub yarn in white, natural wool. The combination of jute and slub yarn creates a three-dimensional feel, giving the rug a unique character while maintaining a timeless design. A thin fringe along the short edges adds a simple yet significant detail that completes the overall expression.

Cappelen Dimyr uses only natural fibers, such as untreated linen and wool, in an effort to create products with minimal negative environmental impact. Every part of the rug is handcrafted, washed with natural soap, and sun-dried. No chemicals are used at any stage of production. Care & Cleaning Instructions
To remove stains, use only a small amount of warm water or, for more stubborn stains, a small amount of soap. The wool naturally contains fat, which helps prevent stains from penetrating the fibers. For a more thorough cleaning, dry cleaning is recommended.
