Ingrid Unsöld
Ingrid Unsöld is a Stockholm-based ceramic artist with a studio located on the charming Lundagatan in the Södermalm district of Stockholm. She holds a degree in ceramics from the design school in Copenhagen, but she also has a master's degree in industrial design. After working for many years in interior design agencies specializing in office spaces, she took a leap of faith and fully dedicated herself to her passion for wheel throwing and ceramics when the pandemic broke out.
In her art, she finds inspiration in everything from architecture to children's programs, nature, and popular culture. Her works reflect both a soft form - cheerful, glossy, and colorful - and an architectural aspect that leans towards a more sleek, elegant, and earthy side, where Japanese design and aesthetics play a contributing role.
