In 1884, Sweden's first lamp factory opened. Even today, over 130 years later and still run by the same family, Karlskrona Lampfabrik continues to run the production of quality kerosene lamps. These are lamps made of solid craftsmanship of mouth-blown glass and burners in brass, which give a warm and soft glow and a high cosiness factor on the balcony or patio. The classic model Koholmen was designed at the end of the 19th century and was at the time intended as a spare lamp for train drivers. The same design is still manufactured today and also comes in different sizes.
